Shabina Khan is an Indian choreographer.[1] She choreographed songs for the Salman Khan starrer films Jai Ho, Dabangg, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo,[2][3] Tubelight and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.[4]
Career
[edit]She started assisting the choreographer Ganesh Hegde for the film Khamoshi: The Musical (1996). From 1996 - 2001, she assisted Ganesh Acharya. During this time she started receiving offers to choreograph independently. She then assisted Saroj Khan for the film Soldier (1998) and assisted Prabhudeva in 2002.
In 2003, she became an Independent choreographer for the film Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon produced by Ram Gopal Verma. Her work with Salman Khan marked a turning point, and she went on to choreograph songs for his several films. In, 2021, She launched 'Reality in Reality', a reality show initiative through which she wants to provide a platform for dancers to show off their skills.
