Service was an independent record label founded in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2000 by Ola Borgström and Dan Lissvik.
Dan had recently begun recording music under the name Studio in early 2000 when he met Ola, and together they decided to create a DIY label to release his music, produce T-shirts, and host events. In 2012 Borgström announced that the label would stop issuing new material.[1]
Service was often called Sweden's most important record label and has, in spite of its underground character, been influential for Swedish music in the 21st century.
