Scrubby Mountain is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Scrubby Mountain had a population of 203 people.[1]

- Scrubby Mountain (27°46′13″S 151°33′54″E / 27.7702°S 151.5650°E) rising to 532 metres (1,745 ft) above sea level[3][4]
- Scrubby Mountain South (27°46′29″S 151°34′13″E / 27.7747°S 151.5703°E) 537 metres (1,762 ft)[3][5]
- Gentlemans Seat (27°47′41″S 151°36′54″E / 27.7948°S 151.6150°E) 543 metres (1,781 ft)[3][6]
Demographics
[edit]In the 2016 census, Scrubby Mountain had a population of 164 people.[7]
In the 2021 census, Scrubby Mountain had a population of 203 people.[1]
Education
[edit]There are no schools in Scrubby Mountain. The nearest government primary schools are Pittsworth State School in neighbouring Pittsworth to the north-east and Brookstead State School in Brookstead to the west. The nearest government secondary school is Pittsworth State High School, also in Pittsworth to the north-east.[8]
