Sana Malik (born 1988) is an Indian architect turned lawyer turned politician.[1] She is serving as the member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the Anushaktinagar Assembly constituency since 23 November 2024 representing the Nationalist Congress Party. She is daughter of Nawab Malik, a former minister in the Cabinet of Maharashtra.[2][3]
Early life and education
[edit]Sana Malik was born in 1988 to Nawab Malik.
She has completed Bachelor of Legislative Law (LL.B.) from Rizvi Law College Bandra, Mumbai under Mumbai University in 2024.[4]
Career
[edit]She made a debut in politics in 2017, when she unsuccessfully contested 2017 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation election.[1]
In 2024, she was made a candidate of Nationalist Congress Party, a party under the coalition of National Democratic Alliance. She was fielded against Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar candidate Fahad Ahmad, former student activist and Husband of Swara Bhaskar.[5][6][7]
