Critical Public Health is a quarterly peer-reviewed public health journal. It was established in 1979 as Radical Community Medicine, obtaining its current name in 1990.[1] It is published by Routledge and the editor-in-chief is Joe Thomas (Institute of Health & Management, Melbourne, Australia). According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2017 impact factor of 2.412.[2] In July 2023 the editors of the journal all resigned citing differences with the commercial model of the publisher Taylor and Francis. [3] The editors have started a new journal called Journal of Critical Public Health.[4]
