2022 portal updates

[edit]

The following updates/upgrades have been performed on the portal in 2022. North America1000 16:23, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Converted the Selected list to a Featured list section that is scrollable, so several lists can be perused.
  • Subpages to the Selected article section have not been added since 2013, so they are essentially stale at this time. Created a scrollable, purgeable Featured articles section which replaced the outdated Selected article section.
  • Selected biography subpages have not been added since 2009, and after that only three were added to the main portal page using transclusion in November 2019, so entries are a bit stale. Replaced with section with a scrolling Good articles section that displays all GA-class articles, and biographies are included in these, as they are in FA-class articles as well. In other words, biographical articles remain in the portal, interspersed amongst other articles in the FA- and GA-article sections.
