(ESPN ) July 12 - The NCAA imposed sanctions on the University of Oklahoma for "failing to monitor" Rhett Bomar and offensive lineman J. D. Quinn. Oklahoma will be on probation until 2010, will lose two scholarships for each of the next two seasons, and will have to vacate the record of its 2005 season . Oklahoma plans to appeal the ruling.
