The six-tubercled Amazon River turtle[3] or six-tubercled river turtle (Podocnemis sextuberculata) is a species of turtle in the family Podocnemididae.

It is found in the Amazon basin in Brazil, Colombia, Peru and possibly Ecuador.[4]
