The black-billed weaver (Ploceus melanogaster) is a species of bird in the family Ploceidae. It has multiple isolated elevated populations across sub-Saharan Africa : the Western High Plateau, the Albertine Rift montane forests, the Imatong Mountains, Kenya and Uganda.[1]
