Natica marochiensis is a species of predatory sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Naticidae, the moon snails.[1]
Distribution
[edit]This marine species has a wide distribution. It can be found at the following locations:
- Mediterranean Sea
- Atlantic Ocean : Cape Verde, West Africa, Angola
- Caribbean Sea
- Gulf of Mexico
- Lesser Antilles
- Indian Ocean : Mozambique
Description
[edit]The maximum recorded shell length is 40 mm.[2]
Habitat
[edit]Minimum recorded depth is 0 m.[2] Maximum recorded depth is 94 m.[2]
