Moncalvillo is a municipality and town located in the province of Burgos, Castile and León, Spain.[2] According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 85 inhabitants.[3]

[edit]The road ascending from Logroño to the lakes is a climb in professional road bicycle racing, having been used by Vuelta a España twice. It is 8.6 kilometres long at an average gradient of 8.9% (height gain: 765 m).
