Metro... In Dino (transl. Metro... Nowadays) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic drama written and directed by Anurag Basu, and produced by T-Series Films and Anurag Basu Productions.[2] It is the spiritual sequel to Anurag Basu's previous critically acclaimed hit film Life in a... Metro (2007). The film's dialogue is written by Samrat Chakraborty.[3] The film is an anthology of 4 different heartwarming stories of contemporary couples and stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.[4] The film was officially announced in December 2022. Principal photography took place up to February 2024 in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Lucknow.[5] Metro...in Dino is scheduled for a theatrical release on 29 November 2024.[6] The film draws its title from the popular song "In Dino" from Life in a... Metro.[7]

[edit]Anurag Basu cast Aditya Roy Kapur once again after Netflix original film Ludo (2020).[12]
Filming
[edit]Principal photography of the film includes the Kolkata leg of the shoot that was carried out in December 2022. [13] Shooting was concluded by February 2024 in Delhi, which was preceded by some scenes being shot at Barog railway station. [14] [15]
Music
[edit]The film's music is composed by Pritam, who has collaborated once again with Anurag Basu after Life in a... Metro (2007).[16] Actor Anupam Kher has sung a song for the film. [17]
Release
[edit]Metro...in Dino with ensemble cast is scheduled for a theatrical release on 29 November 2024.[18] The film is being distributed by UTV Motion Pictures.
