Lake Mamacocha (possibly from Quechua mama mother / madam / qucha lake, mama qucha ocean,[2] Mama Qucha) or Lake Yanacocha is a lake in Peru located in Encañada District, Cajamarca Province, Cajamarca Region.[3]
