Pantanodon sp. nov. 'Manombo' is a species of fish in the family Poeciliidae. It is endemic to Madagascar. Its natural habitats are rivers and swamps. It is critically endangered and threatened by habitat loss.^[1] In 2024, it was officially described as Malagodon honahona (placed in Malagodon, a new genus of extinct Malagasy killifish), and was presumed extinct.^[2]
