La Voix (born 17 March 1980) is the stage name of Chris Dennis, a British drag performer and singer best known for competing on Britain's Got Talent and Queen of the Universe, as well as serving as a mentor on Queens for the Night and appearing as a contestant on sixth series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.[2]

Personal life and career

[edit]

La Voix, originally from Stockton-on-Tees, has toured numerous venues internationally, including over 80 cruise ships, and has regularly performed in pantomimes in Aylesbury and High Wycombe. She is a former BBC Three Counties Radio presenter.[3]

In May 2015, La Voix was one of the finalists of RuPaul's Drag Race UK Ambassador. She reached the final round, where she placed as runner-up to The Vivienne.[4] In September 2023, La Voix's tour van was stolen, with equipment, costumes and wigs inside. The van was later found with nothing having been taken.[5]

La Voix performs her one woman show on P&O cruises, entertaining guests in the Limelight Club with a combination of singing and comedy.

La Voix is competing on the sixth series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. She won the main challenge of the episode "Pop of the Tops - Live: The Rusical".
