Kiruba Shankar Eswaran (born May 1985), also known as Kiruba Eswaran, is a Portuguese-British entrepreneur.[2][3][4][5]
Career
[edit]Zaask (2011-2021)
[edit]In 2011, Kiruba co-founded Zaask, a services marketplace company based in Portugal.[1] He served as the company's Chief Marketing Officer. In September 2021, Worten, a subsidiary of the Sonae Group, acquired Zaask.[6][7]
Eleos (2022-present)
[edit]In 2022, Kiruba founded Eleos, a digital insurance company based in the United Kingdom.[8] The company provides digital life insurance and income protection insurance [9]services through partnerships with fintech companies including Loqbox, CreditLadder, CreditSpring, and Updraft.[10][11]
Funding

- In late 2023, a pre-seed round of £700,000[11]
- In May 2024, a seed funding round of €3.75 million led by Fuel Ventures and Indico Capital Partners[12][13] [14]
The company maintains engineering operations in Portugal while serving the UK market.[15]
