KA is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language period thriller film directed by the duo Sujith and Sandeep. The film features Kiran Abbavaram, Nayan Sarika, and Tanvi Ram in lead roles.[2][3]
Synopsis
[edit]Abhinaya Vasudev, a postman in the village of Krishnagiri. A mysterious letter received in 1979 sets off a chain of events, drawing Vasudev into a dangerous plot involving a masked man and his gang.[4]

Release
[edit]Theatrical Issue
[edit]Initially the makers planned to release in Multiple Languages in part of Pan Indian trend. But due theatres issue in North & Non-Telugu region in South India. Finally the movie went with only in Telugu Release.
Trailer
[edit]The official trailer of the film released on 23rd October and received positive comments.
Final Release
[edit]KA was theatrically released on 31 October 2024. Dulquer Salmaan acquired the dubbed Malayalam rights of KA.[5]
Reception
[edit]The film opened positive response from critics approving average rating 8.1/10.
Srivathsan Nadadhur of The Hindu wrote that "KA is not without its shortcomings, though they pale in comparison with the ambition in the writing and technical finesse. It is a thriller with a difference".[6] Sashidhar Adivi of Times Now rated it three out of five and wrote that "KA is an interesting take on the thriller genre, blending suspense and philosophical ideas in an engaging way. Though it has a few shifts in tone and issues with writing, the story doesn’t deviate from its purpose of establishing how the ‘concept of life’ eventually catches up with you".[7]
