KCNR (1460 AM) is a radio station licensed to Shasta, California. Owned by Free Fire Media, it primarily broadcasts a talk radio format with a mix of local and syndicated programming, most of which being conservative talk programs.

History

[edit]

In December 2009, the station was bought by former KQMS hosts Carl and Linda Bott, after their show Free Fire Radio was dropped by the station. It flipped to conservative talk as a competitor to KQMS, featuring their show as a morning show, joined by other local and syndicated shows,[2] including Dave Ramsey, Mark Levin, and Brian Kilmeade.
