Jana took up gymnastics at age three encouraged by her mother.[2]

In 2018 she relocated to Canada with her family and started to train at the Wascana Rhythmic Gymnastics club.[2]

In July 2023 she was selected for the Junior World Championships in Cluj-Napoca along with Veronika Drevylo and the junior group. There she took 29th place with hoop, 37th with clubs and 28th in teams.[3]

In late April 2024 she was competed at the Pacific Rim in Cali, there she won bronze in the All-Around and with ribbon as well as silver with hoop and in the team competition, along Eva Cao, Tatiana Cocsanova, Carmel Kallemaa, Suzanna Shahbazian and Kate Vetricean.[4][5] She was then selected for the Pan American Championships in Guatemala City, winning the bronze in teams (along Cao and Vetricean) and with clubs.[6][7]

Senior

In November 2024 it was revealed she was called up to integrate the new Canadian group along Elise Ghosh, Dina Burak, Audrey Lu, Margaret Kuts and Liza Piskunov under the guidance of Janika Mölder.[8]
