Pattapu is a described Dravidian language of Andhra Pradesh.[2]

They are mostly live in district like Nellore, vijaywada e.t.c.

And most of this villages have "lord sri ram temple", There are devoted to "lord sri ram".

According to Ramayana :: one of person from this caste was helped to the "lord sri ram" to the cross the river. In search of "Ma site devi" And "lord sri ram" is give promised to that person, I will worshipped by your caste (pattapu kapu)


They are mostly depends on hunting and catching of fishes or aquatic animals and Otherwise agriculture e.t.c[citation needed]
