Gmina Płużnica is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Wąbrzeźno County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Płużnica, which lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) west of Wąbrzeźno and 32 km (20 mi) north of Toruń.

The gmina covers an area of 119.33 square kilometres (46.1 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 4,970.
