Gabriel Escarrer Julià (born February 1935)[1] is a Spanish billionaire businessman, and the founder and honorary chairman of Meliá Hotels International.[2]
He has six children, and lives on Mallorca, Spain.[2]
His son Gabriel Escarrer Jaume is the chairman and CEO.[3]
