The Wikipedia page associated with this photo has been deleted and I do not understand how the Wikipedia system works. I have been unable to restore it though I have tried several times. It looks like someone questioned the copyright status of this photo but the photo is of ME (actor Van Epperson), it was taken by a close friend who is not a professional photographer and who does NOT own a copyright on the photo. The photo belongs to me 100% and in the past I have been thru Wikipiedia's process to clear the photo and have it approved. Again, the photo is NOT copyright protected by anyone other than ME.
How can I get the page about ME (actor Van Epperson) restored, along with this photo? There is no reason it should have been removed. You can verify who I am by my listing on the imdb.com -- my page there is at <ref>https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0258371/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1<ref>.
I am also on a variety of other Wiki pages, which are easily found with a simple web search of my name -- Van Epperson.
PLEASE HELP ME GET MY WIKIPEDIA LISTING/PAGE REINSTATED. IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN REMOVED. I AM A WORKING ACTOR IN HOLLYWOOD AND THE CASTING COMMUNITY HAS EXPRESSED THEIR DESIRE TO BE ABLE TO LOOK ME UP ON WIKIPEDIA. THANK YOU. (You can call me at 310-858-6709)

- The page was deleted in 2018 as the result of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Van Epperson. The discussion concluded that you were not notable, though its possible that has changed in the last two years. We don't write about everyone, and merely being an actor is not enough to have your own Wikipedia. If you have further questions, please leave them on my talk page. Captain Eek -- Thank you for your response. I do not understand how to leave you a message on the page you noted above -- sorry, I just don't know Wikipedia protocol and don't want to mess your page up. I am NOT "just an actor". I am a 30 year veteran Hollywood actor with over 100 credits on the imdb. I have appeared in a wide variety of television shows since 1990 as well as a number of notable motion pictures. Did you look at my imdb listing? I posted a link in the stuff you read that you responded to. I have had a Wikipedia listing for approx. two decades. In 2016, Wikipedia admins reviewed my photo and had me prove I own the copyright so my page would be acceptable with my photo. If you would PLEASE plug my name into a web search, you will see that I am all over the web -- just not on Wikipedia because my two decades old page was deleted -- but it should not have been. I have been recognized as one of three Hollywood actors cited as "tied for 3rd place" as "the most underrated TV actor OF ALL TIME (see article from England on my website at <https://www.vanepperson.com/press>. There are MANY actors with far less credits than I have, who are far less notable than I am, that have a listing on Wikipedia -- their pages are still on Wikipedia but mine is not. With all due respect (and I DO respect Wikipedia), whatever discussion took place to determine that my page should be removed after some two decades, it was not a sound decision, nor was it a fair decision. Are you saying all the other Wiki sites that list me are wrong for doing so? I am kindly seeking to have my page reinstated -- and I have a Wikipedia writer lined up who knows the system well and who is going to write a more extensive article than the one that used to be posted. "Just an actor"??? I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists; Actor's Equity Association; the American Guild of Variety Artists; and a valued member of the Television Academy, producers of the Emmy Awards -- an organization that requires extensive proof of credits in order to qualify for membership. I am a highly regarded and valued acting teacher and audition coach here in Hollywood with a 30 year history. Wikipedia has articles on many of my actor friends who have far less notoriety than I have but NOT ONE ON ME ANY MORE. I have had casting professionals who are used to looking me up on Wikipedia contact me and ask where my page went -- these are the people I depend on for PROFESSIONAL WORK AS AN ACTOR IN HOLLYWOOD. They thought I might have died when they couldn't find my Wikipedia page. That hurts me professionally. Please don't just brush me off with a "you are just an actor and that's not enough to be on Wikipedia". I need to know what I can do to get a listing on Wikipedia again, please. Who do I need to talk to? Is there a phone number I can call? Can someone call me? Would someone at Wikipedia speak with my agents (I am with Ryan Hayden at Ideal Talent Agency and with one of the largest, most respected Commercial Agents in Hollywood, CESD -- please look them up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yeswolf (talk • contribs) 09:11, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
