Need to name those units!

[edit]

Graphs for use in an encyclopedia ought to have captions that spell out the units of their x, y, etc. scales so that users can understand what is actually being graphed against what. Wikipedia will almost always have an article explaining those units and they may be linked from such captions. Which brings us to this graph. One can get a general idea of the qualities represented by reading the article(s) that use it, but few laypersons will be able to name the exact units from their abbreviations. —Blanchette (talk) 08:15, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
