The image information mentions that this image contains the first set of drawings made by viewing the source through an optical microscope. It doesn't, however, mention the book in which the image (apparently an engraving-plate printing of some sort, judging from the color change over the margin of the first [non-"optimized"] submitted version) was first printed. The only part of the text that I can discern is "Descrizzione dell'ape" ("Description of the bee"), viewable through the paper thanks to ink bleed and/or paper translucence.
Any idea what book this appears in? Amazon appears to have only posters crediting Stelluti for an earlier/later/source version of the respective posters' images.

It's from Stelluti's translation of and commentaries on works (not sure whether complete or selected) by the Roman poet Aulus Persius Flaccus:

BTW, Matthaeus Greuter engraved the printing plate.
