New Jersey

[edit]

Could someone Blue Jersey? Thanks. Czolgolz (talk) 14:10, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oregon

[edit]

Oregon recognizes same-sex marriages. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/govbeat/wp/2013/10/18/oregon-will-recognize-out-of-state-same-sex-marriages/ Prcc27 (talk) 02:18, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Only marriages performed in other jurisdictions, as the map reflects. Czolgolz (talk) 04:48, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New Mexico

[edit]

New Mexico legalized same-sex marriage. http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/12/19/us-usa-gaymarriage-newmexico-idUSBRE9BI11E20131219 Prcc27 (talk) 03:25, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Utah

[edit]

Utah same-sex marriages are currently on hold.. --Prcc27 (talk) 22:42, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Mexican States

[edit]

All the Mexican states should be striped like Oregon is.. --Prcc27 (talk) 03:13, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Kentucky

[edit]
Kentucky recognizes same-sex marriage performed in other jurisdictions. http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/ky-seeks-delay-recognizing-sex-marriage-22698884 --Prcc27 (talk) 00:40, 28 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
UPDATE: On hold until March 20. --Prcc27 (talk) 02:31, 1 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It should still be added due to this footnote.. "May include recent laws or court decisions which have created legal recognition of same-sex relationships, but which have not entered into effect yet." --Prcc27 (talk) 00:34, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Update

[edit]

This map needs to be updated to reflect Kentucky as recognizing same-sex marriage. Until then, I replaced this map with another map. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:State_recognition_of_same-sex_relationships_in_North_America.png --Prcc27 (talk) 00:23, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Utah Recognition

[edit]

Utah is set to recognize in-state marriages performed before the stay. Since the key says "Same-sex marriages recognized, but not performed" and says nothing about whether or not that recognition is of marriages outside the jurisdiction or within, should we add Utah as green? Would a footnote be better? For further discussion of Utah's situation please discuss here. --Prcc27 (talk) 01:09, 21 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stays

[edit]

Shouldn't this map reflect bans that have been struck down but are stayed..? --Prcc27 (talk) 23:49, 13 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See my proposal here: [1] --Prcc27 (talk) 05:50, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hey @Dralwik:, quick question.. is it inappropriate to have Wisconsin striped blue and gold but not have Nevada striped blue and red..? The gold stripe definitely is useful information but this map is set up weirdly to avoid striping.. Prcc27 (talk) 02:34, 24 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Idaho

[edit]

Idaho needs to be fixed. Its amendment was struck down in court and then the decision was stayed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.190.9.126 (talk) 00:09, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yucatán

[edit]

Yucatán bans same-sex marriage and should be striped red.

@Dralwik:, since you striped Ohio, do you think that Yucatán should be striped too or does Yucatán pass as solid recognition because of the wording..? Prcc twenty-seven (talk) 06:29, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Alaska

[edit]

Same-sex marriage legal in Alaska. Alaska should be blue: [2]. Prcc twenty-seven (talk) 23:31, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
