Note on copyright not renewed: This search lists four works of the same name (The Golden Book of California) that had their copyrights renewed. The photo here is from a book of the same name but different work, not from the books whose copyright was renewed. Searching by the name of editor (Robert Sibley) returns no renewed works by the author of the same name, only similar duplicate names. Searching by publisher name (California Alumni Association) returns different works, none of which match the publication in question. The only matching entry is the copyright entry for 1937.[1] The book was published once, in 1937 as a "first edition".[2] There is no indication that other editions were ever printed. It also appears that the copyright non-renewal is recognized by OCLC and Internet Archive, who advertise it as open access.[3] Viriditas (talk) 20:08, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
