Appearance
A vector version of this image is also available, and should be used in place of this raster image where the raster image contains information that could be stored more efficiently and/or accurately in the SVG format, as a vector graphic.
If its license requires the preservation of attribution or revision history, the raster version of this image should not be deleted, in order to maintain this information. For more information, see the documentation on MediaWiki's support of SVG images. |
Problems
[edit]The text in this image is misleading. Non-normality of the tails is not a sufficient condition for determining whether a distribution is skewed. There are plenty of symmetric distributions that are not normal. Btyner (talk) 02:14, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Deletion
[edit]Should it be nomnated for deletion? Godot (talk) 23:47, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well it just needs its captions changed: "symmetric" should replace "normal". Btyner (talk) 23:17, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
- The main reason for deletion whould be that there is a vector version available. Godot (talk) 16:26, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
- I vote to delete; the svg version is much better. Btyner (talk) 23:02, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
