This image is very wrong in terms of the Balkans. There is, thank goodness!, not much sickle cell anaemia occurence and/or gene carriers in Greece and almost none in northern Balkans (Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Dalmatia) which are marked as territories that this disease strikes regularly. Italy is a totally different kettle of fish, though, and the spread is wider than on this image.

Should be corrected.
