can't import to Commons?

@JesseW900, Diannaa, and Nthep: Maybe you can help:

I'm trying to import this logo to Commons so I can specify it in Wikidata https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q7494336.

But when I go to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Shenyang_Aerospace_University_logo.png and click "Export to Wikimedia Commons", I get this error: "Can't import file because at least one of its file revisions is hidden."
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Village_pump/Archive/2022/04#Can't_import_file_from_Wikipedia suggests that the problem may have to do with the license of the logo
However, JesseW900 has explained very well that although not free, the image belongs in Wikipedia because "Any substitute that is not a derivative work would fail to convey the meaning intended, would tarnish or misrepresent its image, or would fail its purpose of identification or commentary."

@Vladimir Alexiev Commons does not accept non-free content, so there is no way to put this logo on Commons. Consequently you can't use it on the Wikidata entry for the University as P18 only links to image hosted on Commons. Nthep (talk) 19:07, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
