Texas

[edit]

According to the article on gay rights in Texas - Texas should be purple.

Utah

[edit]

Arizona

[edit]

Arizona has a floater. Prcc27 (talk) 06:56, 31 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Arkansas

[edit]

Why isn't Arkansas no longer purple? The ban was struck down by their Supreme Court a couple of years ago, no? Bigdaddybrabantio (talk) 21:50, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Florida

[edit]

Can someone help fix the FL floater? Really not sure how to do that. Bigdaddybrabantio (talk) 01:35, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

After the Obergefell decision

[edit]

I believe that this map is incorrect. True, same-sex marriage is now legal in every state, but that does not change the situation in some states (possibly Mississippi, Nebraska, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and maybe others) that specifically deny joint adoption and/or second-parent adoption for same-sex couples, married or not. Take a look at HRC's maps regarding adoptions, for example. I suggest a partial reversion to the previous map for the states that have laws or court decisions that prohibit same-sex adoptions, regardless of marital status.
