IMHO this is NOT a "Cast brass", it's a brass after rolling and annealing. Usu. the dendritic structure is observed in cast alloys, which is not the case here. The presence of twins within the grains is typical of the alloys after plastic deformation and subsequent recrystallisation. May I suggest the change of the image description to e.g. "Brass after deformation and annealing".

Apart from that, pl do not use magnification factor. A marker bar of certain length is a perfect solution. --JPFen (talk) 16:26, 9 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
