Cdn Rockies

The map doesnst' reflect the Canadian geographic reality; what drew my attnetion to itis how far it doesn't go to the north; it looks to end here at Lake Williiston, it should extend nearly to the Yukon border. But also the mountains northward from Idaho are not considered Rocky Mountains in Canada; htey're in the Columbia Mountains; I'm not sure where the Percells/Purcells fall in the US scheme of things, but I do know the Cabinet and Salish Mountains are considered Rockies in American geography; but their northward counterparts beyond the Kootenay River are not (as noted the Percells may be, but they Purcells are definitely not). The width of the Canadian portion of the coloured area is therefore far too wise; hte perimeter of the Rockies in Canada is the Rocky Mountain Trench, such taht thet BC portion as far north as where the BC-AB boundary heads up t he line of longitude would be very7, very narrow - and not as currently shown.Skookum1 (talk) 21:25, 10 September 2008 (UTC) YOU CAN CALL ME GREEN BEANNSSSSS.
