The map is certainly very lacking in portayal of Polish areas in the eastern regions as well as in German Empire. Fortunetely they are more precise maps on Wiki--Molobo (talk) 03:37, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nonsense! The maps you mean are all propaganda maps who higher the polish poluation in every area, like in the vilnius region... in all of your "precise" maps are in the area a big polish majority... WHERE is this majority in the polish maps bevor the annexation of the area???? See this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Polska1912.jpg ..in my Opinion you all are polish nationalists believing what they want to believe... but STOP spreading your propaganda... 62.117.9.161 (talk)

Get less emotional and start critically evaluating your sources. The map is obviously wrong. Poles constituted a majority round Hrodna and Vilnius since the times of the Commonwealth. They are actually still a majority in many counties round these two cities. The atlas of 1912 is not accurate. The corrected version of Romer's Atlas (1921) is more thorough when it comes to Polish "Kresy". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.10.105.236 (talk) 14:46, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
