@Hector salonica: A non-free image does not need the consent of the subject or the consent of the copyright holder to be used; it is exactly for this reason that Wikipedia treats the file as non-free. Moreover, the subject of an article has no final editorial control over what is written in the article, including what images are used in the article. Since Corteau is still living, Wikipedia simply does not allow (except in some very specific cases) a non-free image of him to be used for identification purposes per WP:NFCC#1. If Corteau wants to have a specific photo of himself that he holds to copyright own used in the article, then he should upload it to Commons under a free license as explained in c:COM:OTRS.
Also, if Corteau is a personal friend of yours as you state in the file's non-free use rationale, then you have a conflcit of interest with respect to anything written about him on Wikipedia and you should refrain from directly edting any such pages except as explained in WP:COIADVICE or WP:PSCOI. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:34, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Changing the license to FAL does not allow us to keep the image, as there's no proof that the copyright holder has released the image under that license. I have deleted the image. — Diannaa (talk) 21:03, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
