File talk:PICT7385 trimmed BNC.jpg
Appearance
75 ohm
[edit]This image comparison is not accurate. 75 ohm BNC connectors do not feature the inner nylon lining (thus the greater impedance of air making for the higher impedance connector). All of the BNC connectors in this image are 50 ohm as seen by the white and red lining inside the connector. A true 75 ohm BNC would not have this lining and the interior would only show the metallic components seen here.
- These are marked 75 ohm but perhaps the ISA kits ones are constructed different from cable end 75 ohm plugs. I was just trying to show that 50 ohm and 75 ohm are different. I will have another look around to see if I can find a 75 ohm plug on an old cable. --jmb 00:48, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
