[edit]The file was apparently deleted on sight for failiure to give a fair-use rationale. I tagged the file and it was apparently ignored. I'll have to place the rationale here.
Fair-Use Rationale
[edit]Ozone was a low-profile group (Only 2 of their singles even charted) on their own. However, they are musically signifigant due to their vast invlovement with Teena Marie, Billy Preston, Syreeta and other Motown giants that they deserve a picture. But because of their duties as second-bananas and backup singers, they were basically completely omitted from music videos of said artists, and the only pictures of them which seem to exist are of similar quality and copyright as this one.
What makes this one unique and the best suited for wikipedia is that a band member released this image online at Soulwalking.co.uk in an effort to make sure readers knew what the band looked like. The use of this same image in an almost identical capacity on this website does the band justice and does not in any way attempt to take away credit or infringe upon the rights on Ozone. It almost functions as promotional material.
A quick search on google will reveal that no images from that time frame depicting the band are readily available online other than this one. Because the band members are all well into their 50s and 60s now, some possibly dead, a new image could not easily be created. The ONLY other possible image from this time frame that is readily available would be this one. However, the copyright status is completely unknown and it appears that at least 2 band members are absent from that picture. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Atari2 (talk • contribs) 06:18, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
