The map is wrong, the province of Värmland (some argue this for Närke also.) was not a part of Svealand until the begining of the 19th century. When todays Svealand was coined as a part of Sweden. Historicaly only Götaland existed and the area north of it was called Nordanskog. When the power center in Sweden moves eastwards to Stockholm and Uppsala due to the expantion into todays Finland. Historians during the 15th century rewrote Swedish history to make the area arround the capital more glorius, inventing Svealand. They even went so far to claim that Sweden was the lost Atlantis.
