Fixing inaccuracies

Beautiful as it is, this map is inaccurate at least in its southern border. The Pyrenees borders in order to fit it in present-day France is highly questionable, but in lack of further data in my hands, let`s give it a rest. As for Gascony/Vasconia, it looks gratuituous its inclusion in a dubious map of France, as I say, it looks as if it tried to serve a purpose other than historic accuracy. At the end of the 10th century, a piece of records belonging to the Duke of Gascony, measures calendar according the Frankish king, but no other data suggest their suzerainty to the Frankish kings. The dukes were actually more linked to the kingdom of Navarre by marriage and their frequent visits to the court of the Pamplonese monarchs. At least from 1032, but as Auñamendi points probably during all early 10th century and for a short period up to 1035, Gascony and south of the Pyrenees Aragon, Biscay, Durango, Gipuzkoa, Álava, Castile and possibly Leon were suzerain to Pamplona. Labourd (Bayonne and lower Adour, extending up to San Sebastian) was suzerain to Pamplona (The Basques Roger Collins and Auñamendi Entziklopedia). I'm open to other evidence pointing to the contrary.
