What makes you think the image is of Mansar Lake? It clearly corresponds to the image on Panoramio from the eastern end of Manasbal Lake, showing the view from just above the switchback there. Features can be aligned with those seen in the satellite views. Is there a perspective viewpoint on Mansar Lake that looks like this image, or are you simply assuming that the distant mountains would always be visible? It appears they are simply hidden in cloud on the horizon in this image you suggest. If you look at the shape of the shoreline in this image, you'll see it corresponds to that of Manasbal, not of Mansar. LeadSongDog come howl! 16:21, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The creator of this image has mentioned “Lake near Jammu in the description of the image, where as Jammu is some 300 kilometers away from Manasbal Lake. If suppose this image is of Manasbal Lake, than what is it doing in page Jammu with the caption of “Mansar Lake“ and again what is it doing in Mansar Lake again with the caption of “Mansar Lake“

The creator (Gaurav Gupta) did no such thing. The description was given by the uploader to Commons, user:Deepak, on 6 December 2005 as listed here. Given that he also contributed photos from Amsterdam and London, 300km qualifies as "near". Further, he wasn't explicit whether he referred to Jammu (city), Jammu district, Jammu region, or simply Jammu and Kashmir, so his intent is rather unclear. In any case, that statement is not verifiable, it is just an unsupported assertion. I've removed the image of Manasbal Lake from the article Mansar Lake, and corrected the geocoding as well.
