The current image description is a harsh critique, alleging montage, but it is based on misinformation. The "iron bars" shown in the photograph are springboards, which are wooden planks with a steel tip. See Logging. They were commonly used cutting the original old growth trees in Oregon and elsewhere, and they are still used in competitive logging. The tree shown is of typical size relative to the humans, for native old growth Douglas fir in Oregon. I believe the critical added image description is in error and should be deleted.
