[edit]I understand that Carl Van Vechten didn't want his photos cropped, but that awkard, crooked black border isn't really "part" of the photograph, is it? That upside-down reproduction number at the bottom certainly isn't either. Surely they can be removed whilst still upholding Van Vechten's wishes? In any case, both of the URLs given in the Source field (i.e. LoC description page and Link to photo file) now link to cropped versions of the photo.
