Curious enough the map included does not show the terrain as is. There are several white areas suggesting them belonging to Italy. One the west from Melide (actually above Melide) you would find an ancient village of Caronna completely missing. Above (or East of) Campione di Italia the white area suggest that Swiss territory is no longer there which is untrue, since the 9th century, when village of Campione di'Italia was presented to the St. Ambrosius church in Milan, and belongs to Italy now. A territory completely surrounded in the Switzerland. I shall refrain from other omissions. Incidentally the second map with German names seems more descriptiveIinclusive.
