Contested deletion

This page should not be speedy deleted because there is a template in Wikimedia commons (here) which states that photographic works or applied art in Sri Lanka are copyrighted for 25 years from the making of the work. I uploaded the file under PD category based on that. Anyways it's a historically significant image portraying an important phase of Sri Lankan Civil War. If in fact the template is wrong, I think the category of the file should be altered to historically significant, fair use image. Astronomyinertia (talk) 16:04, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
