Wada in Photo?

I'm the Wikipedian who uploaded this image originally (from a postcard), but I'm now unsure it shows Wada (even though the postcard text said "Wada and his sledding dogs" or words to that effect). What do the rest of you think -- does it indeed show Wada?

My reservation stems from my feeling that the man in the dog sled photo doesn't look like Wada in other photos I've seen of him (such as the one at the top of the page).
