This is not Musca domestica - not sure what it is, but not Musca domestica
The following from Description of Musca domestica from d'Assis-Fonseca, E.C.M. 1968 Muscidae Vol 10 Pt 4b
From key to genus musca:
- Discal vein conspicuously bent or curved (towards cubital vein) at apex - can't be determined from the view on this photo.
- Densely grey dusted with four conspicuous black stripes, abdomen extensible orange-yellow. This photo lacks both these features.
From key to domestica:
- Propleural depression with some short black hairs, male eyes separated by more than twice the width of the 3rd antennal segment, abdomen pale brownish towards base at sides. First point can't be seen because that part of the fly in photo is too dark, usually this is clearer, as it is against a grey disted background. Male eyes (the one in the photo is a male) of pictured fly are very close, about the width of one 3rd antennal segment, not two. last point - pale brownish markins are absent from fly in photo.
I feel this backs up my view that this in not Musca domestica.
I suspect (very loosely) this picture is of Fannia sp - but one would need to see a clear view of wing veins to do more than guess?
