My father was born in this house in 1911. They thought he was a "blue baby" and he was set aside in a towel-covered basket while they worked on his mother. Just out of the corner of her eye, a nurse thought she spotted the towel move...and he was alive! Grew up to live a positively golden childhood in this home during that golden age in Los Angeles.
