this seems to be misleading, the lightning strike seems to imply that energy from the outside is responsible for a sudden breaking of the gluon tube.

Better would be a visualization that makes it clear that you need to constantly supply energy in order to seperate the quarks from one another. Above the threshold it's energetically better to just have two quark pairs, so the gluon tube breaks without an energy contribution from the outside. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jobach18 (talk • contribs) 10:20, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
