Missing glaciation?
[edit]I can see that there is precious little space at the end of the timeline, and perhaps this is why it was not included, but the late cenozoic ice age is still conspicuously absent, could also make note that it is ongoing. If we are to stick to "glaciations" stricto sensu, the Quaternary glaciation has been ongoing for the past two and a half Ma, which while small at this scale is still important, having shaped large swathes of the modern world. Was it purely a legibility concern which led to it not being included, or was there some other criteria I am unaware of?
Also, I think there's a small display bug where I think the Pridoli epoch displays over the epoch/age boundary. Great diagram otherwise, I like it. XiphosuraTalk∞Edits 03:22, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
