How Many Ancestors Share Our DNA?

[edit]

There are no good papers about this topic. See an interesting Blog entry: www.genetic-inference.co.uk/blog/2009/11/how-many-ancestors-share-our-dna/ There the calculations show that much less ancestors then normally calculated shared DNA with us. The sharing curve flattens out around 125 ancestors and 10 to 12 generations. --ChrisTi (talk) 20:23, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
